We met in the ER, not exactly a quiet or conventional place to start a relationship but fitting for two people used to thinking on their feet. Our paths crossed during patient handoffs and the everyday chaos that comes with working in emergency medicine.

What started as brief conversations during busy shifts slowly grew into something more. Eventually, we went out for drinks, and that first date changed everything. An immediate, strong connection was felt.
